How to copy a Shopify menu?

How to extend a Shopify menu?

You can find more options for menu items by clicking the small drop-down arrow. With this you can change individual items without leaving the app and copy whole sections. For a step by step tutorial, please watch the following video:

How to hide Shopify menu items?

You can hide menu items by clicking the Hide button. If a menu item has subitems, they will be hidden too. For a step by step tutorial, please watch the following video:

How to export and import a Shopify menu?

You can export a menu by clicking the Export menu button. Unsaved changes won’t be exported. You can import a menu by clicking the Import menu button on the menu overview screen. For a step by step tutorial, please watch the following video:

Why am I getting an out of sync warning?

When you hide menu items, we save the layout of your menu. This helps the app put back your hidden menu items in the right spots when you reactivate them. If you change the order of menu items, or create or delete menu items outside of MenuQoL, sometimes the app can’t be sure where your hidden menu item should go. When this happens, you’ll see a warning that says "Out of sync". Don’t worry, this is not a big deal. To fix it, just check that all your menu items are in the right order and position, then click on "Save menu". This will update the layout we have saved.

How does billing work?

Your subscription will appear on your Shopify bill. It will be charged every month or once a year, depending on the plan you select.

How can I select a plan?

When you try to use a paid feature, you will be taken to a page to select a plan if you don't have a subscription. You can also manage your plan through the Shopify admin:

  • In the Shopify admin, click on 'Settings'
  • Go to 'Apps and sales channels'
  • Select MenuQoL
  • Click 'Select plan' in the Billing and usage charges section
How can I cancel my subscription?

You can cancel your subscription by uninstalling the app. Shopify will stop charging you for MenuQoL. We will keep your data for 48 hours, and then Shopify will ask us to delete it. After that, your data will be permanently gone, so make sure you don't have any hidden items left before you uninstall.

Is there a free trial?

We offer a free 14-day trial where you can use all the features. If you uninstall the app during this time, your subscription will be canceled, and you won’t be charged.
